Franchisees come from an incredibly diverse range of backgrounds. Though some have either been a tenant or a landlord, very few have come from a career in property.
As the network continues to grow it is vital that new franchisees display such personal qualities as:
- maintaining the very highest standards of service and professionalism
- be highly motivated and ambitious
- be prepared to work in the business on a day-to day basis in the early stages
- have the determination to succeed, and be capable of organising themselves to work efficiently
Potential franchisees are encouraged to do their homework as franchising is not right for everyone. The Martin & Co franchise application process provides a structured step-by-step process for potential franchisees to assimilate a tremendous amount of information before reaching a decision. Anyone invited to join the brand will receive a specimen franchise agreement, a map of the proposed territory and a 5-year business plan tailored to the territory together with full, unfettered access to all Martin & Co franchisees, before completing their due diligence enquiries.
